Montmorillonite can adsorb and fix bacteriotoxin, bacillus coli, comma bacillus, campylobacter jejuni, staphylococcus aureus, duovirus and cholate. Montmorillonite can only adsorb pathogenicbacteria with encoding protein(CS*1A) on the surface. It has no scavening action of normal flora without  encoding protein(CS*1A) on the surface.
